I am 35 years old, and looking to regain the kind of fitness that I had "back in the day". I've had a lot of battles to fight, particularly with injuries and surgeries. Still, I refuse to give up on the pursuit of freedom, health, and happiness.
This is not specifically a "weight loss" blog, though I talk about that a lot here. I don't believe that a person has to have a certain body fat percentage to be healthy and happy. Instead, I just focus on challenging exercises that make me feel strong and invigorated. I try to eat healthy foods, while knowing that I have a strong habit of craving absolute junk.
I'm certainly not perfect, so I'm sure that there will be many posts here that detail the many ways that I've messed up. For me though, it's a matter of the pursuit, the endeavor to try and succeed- not specifically the number on the scale. You are very welcome to celebrate with me when I'm happy and winning the good fight, and I'd appreciate it just as much to have your company when I'm struggling and depressed, feeling overwhelmed.
